  • So what is this site all about?

If you take your hobby of making videos seriously, you would need to "invest" in microphones and lighting units, software and hardware, cranes and camera stabilisers etc

Now most of these items are expensive to purchase commercially
    - which is where this site comes in.

After all, if you go right back to the basics, a lighting unit is essentially a lamp in a reflector!
Why do you need a brandname such as Arri or a Redhead?
Handled correctly, a cheap floodlight could suffice just as well!

And why pay $$$ for a softbox when you can make one quite easily with using our plans.
In fact, our model is probably BETTER than commercial versions as it has a 36" diffuser on the front! (Cost about £10)

Why pay Thousands for a camera stabiliser when you can build one for a few hundred ... if that!
Note: We're not talking about a weight on the end of a pole acting as a stabiliser.
We're talking about a full metal rig with spring loaded articulated arms.

Each project will be broken down into simple to follow PDF ebook plans.
They vary in price dependant on the number of pages within the guide, but average around $19:95 each.

Note: Members are able to purchase these guides at a discount

Plus, as you can see from the buttons across the top of the screen, the site carries a number of extra sections as well, such as message boards, article directories, link directories and more
    ... even member profiles.

Feel free to take a look at some of the sections.
However, whilst you can view some sections, many will be "locked" as these are for "Members Only" You will not be able to view any articles / take part in these forums etc ... until you become a member.

Down the side menu are some of the projects I hope to develop over the coming months.
None of the projects will involve specialist machinery, except perhaps an electric drill, a vertical drill stand, a hacksaw, a hammer and an engineer's vice!

In otherwords, equipment that the average DIY-er will already own.
